February 15, 2020 is most memorable day for students in N.M.S.S.V.N college studying 3rd BA English.
We went to one day tour to Kodaikanal. Since the year started we were eager and had the enthusiasm in the tour plan. Finally we planned to go to Kodaikanal on February 15, 2020 with our friends. Two male professors and two female professors accompanied with us. We started our journey at 05:00am from our college. When we passed through few distance we gradually started to dance and shout like anything inside the bus.
Before reaching the hill station we stepped out of the bus for a small cup of tea in that chill weather and as a refreshment. Then we started to climb the hill some of our friends felt giddiness and vomiting sensation. The volunteers distributed orange candies to all to avoid vomiting. At 08:30 am we reached the Silver Cascade, the entrance of Kodaikanal. There we took many photographs and a group photo.
Then we moved to the Sacred Heart College museum. There we finished our breakfast together. We brought lot of idlies, chapathis, maggi, bread & jam and more snacks. We sat by the garden side and ate together by sharing foods with our friends. Then we visited Museum, there were many animals are being preserved. We saw the skin of king cobra ad skin of many other snakes and growth of animals from their mother’s womb
After that we reached the pine forest at 11:30 am. That was my first trip to Kodaikanal and I was mesmerized and my friends too. There we saw tall pine trees which made us feel like a Dendrophiles. We were just wondered to see those trees. There were mist around the trees. We left pine forest in 12:40 pm.
Then we went to Guna cave and Green Valley View (suicide point) but unfortunately we were not able to see the places fully because of mist and so we skipped those places and reached Garden. There we had our lunch, we shared our lunch with all our friends & professors. There were many varieties of foods like a foot feast. Lemon rice, Tomato rice, Tamarind rice, Chapathis, curd rice and some desserts. After lunch we had lot of fun.
We went to cycling around the lake. Cycling with our friends in that breeze were beautiful moments in our life. Some of them didn’t know cycling but they too accompanied with us. Those fun moments were unforgettable. Some of my friends went for horse riding. It was a pure white tall horse. It had a gigantic look. After that we went to street side shops and had tiny purchases. At 05:30 pm we got into bus to return to Madurai.
That was such a wonderful trip in our life. This is our last year in this college. Through we have groupism Among friends we are from the single womb BA English Literature (2017-2020).
We are gonna separate in few days. We may separate physically but we mentally United forever through social media or anything else.

Shin-chan Nohara, the guy who literally painted our childhood with happiness all over. Although his dance with one hand on his butt cheek still distrubs me. This cartoon has succeeded to influence not just little kids but adults as well and to our amazement, the old aged too. The episodes are gaining a global fame for just a bunch of lame jokes and a terrifically humored story plot.
Shinchan is inspired by the real life kid âShinnosuke Noharaâ who faced death in a car accident. His mother âMisaeâ went in misery and gloom after the sonâs death, Misae started sketching Shinchan in his remembrance. She described him frequently, his fun days and all her flash of memory were creatively portrayed in the bundles of sketches she drew. Later, a cartoonist Yoshita Usai gazed at those beautiful drawings and offered to develop these memories into a Japanese magazine daily, which then gained immense ratings and popularity. Shinchan was translated into diverse language and started selling worldwide. The crayons of her mother embraced the emergence of the cartoon series âCrayon Shinchan.â
This animation series revolves around a 5-year-old funny and funny child Shinchan Nohara and is accompanied by his mother Mishe Nohara, his sister Hiawawari and his father Hiroshi Nohara. And apart from this his friends and his relatives are also involved. Whom he keeps harassing them all the time. And if you also watch this animation series. Or you must have seen that you will also know that he likes his madam too.
After publishing this comics series in August 1990, its popularity increased so much that only after 2 years its animation series was started and this series was first directed by Mitsuru Hongo. And then Kellchi Hara from 1996 to 2004 and again from 2004 till now this series is being directed by Yuji Muto. But it was only in 2009 that Shinchan writer Yoshito Usui died in an accident. At that time, people felt that perhaps now this animation series will not be able to move forward. But in 2010, the people of the Yoshito Usui team created a new comics series called New Crayon Shin Chan, which was not so funny as the old one.
But due to the Shinchan character and the popularity gained earlier it also went well and so far 57 volumes of Shinchen comics series have been made. And more than 100 million copies of it have been sold all over the world.
If we talk about its popularity, then its popularity has been many times more than the comics series. Shinchan is the 24th Highest Grossing Animation Franchise in today’s times. And in addition to the TV series, 26 films have also been made and it has been made in 30 languages. Which is shown on different channels in more than 45 countries worldwide.

Hai guys good to see you again. In this story I’m going to tell a story of a girl and her unique personality.
This story is about a girl named Divya. She is working in a IT company. She has a unique personality that whenever she ends her conversation with anyone she says the sentence “Love you”. Even when she goes to market after buying the vegetables she tells thankyou plus she added Love you. Because of her unique personality the society tease her. She is isolated from society. Everyone thought that there is some mistake in her. Her friend suggests her to go to a psychologist. She meets a Doctor, and tells all her issues. Doctor asked her that since when you started to tell Love You.
Divya said that when she was studying her UG. She had a friend Ritha. She had this personality of telling Love you to all. Once divya asked her why are you telling love you to all she replied simply that nothing is permanent we didn’t know how many days or years we are going to live in this earth. So spread your love as much you can. After that she started to tell love you to everyone like her friend.
One day divya forgot to tell love you in her end of the conversation with Ritha. Unfortunately that Ritha met with an accident and she died. This made some impact in divya heart to tell love you to all. She thinks that Ritha died because of her careless of telling love you. Divya thought she don’t want to lose any people.
Then the Doctor suggests her to say Love You along with any relationship. Like Love you Brother, Love you Sister.
From this story, Divya is a good girl, genuine character with good personality but our society having a wrong way of judging.
Personality differs from one person to another. If you see any personality better than yours then you can change your personality if you try.
Act Optimistic in each and every situation. The world seems to be bright if you are Optimistic đ.
So Love you guys. My suggestion also spread your love as much you can. Not only by saying love you just a smile meant a lot. đ

Tree Lovers are called Dendrophile, tree hugger, Nemophilist and etc,. Trees are our best friend because they clean the air we breathe. Likewise, they also clean the water and soil and ultimately make the earth a better place. In fact, people who lives near trees are healthier, fit, and happier than people who do not. Do you ever feel humidity ? When you inhale the fresh air it will boost up you and it make freshness and give you relaxation.
There are Three Trillion Trees in our world. Almost half of them are living in tropical or subtropical forest. According to the latest research the total number of trees in world is 3.041 trillion. The revised number is almost eight times more than the previous estimate of 400 billion trees. Trees are one of the very useful and beautiful living creatures on the earth. They provide us fresh oxygen continuously and gives many necessary things like wood, pulp for producing paper, fruits, vegetables and shade in sunny days and provide home to a lot of animals, insects and birds. They bring peacefulness, create a pleasing and relaxing environment.
Do you know ? One acre of forest absorb 6 tons of Carbon-dioxide and puts out 4 tons of oxygen. This is enough to meet the annual needs of 18 people. A complete growth of tree takes 5 to 6 years but we people simply cut off the tree within 10 minutes by using electrical equipments. Just think of it 6 years of growth destroyed in 10 minutes, how terrible it is.
The number of trees across the world is decreasing sharply. A lot of forest have been destroyed for the land and agriculture. As a result many animals have become endangered species and one of the reasons of air pollution. We must understand the fact that trees are the important part of the Eco-system. Trees reduce UV-B exposure by about 50â thus providing production to our skin. They help us in many ways. We should treat the trees with proper care. Trees are the longest living organisms on Earth, and never die of old age. The Old List is a database of ancient trees that officially tracks old trees, their species, and location. Methuselah, from Californiaâs White Mountains, comes in at over 4,800 years old.
âMoon treesâ were grown from seeds taken to the moon in early 1971. After orbiting the earth with the Apollo 14 mission, these tree seeds returned to earth and were germinated by the Forest Service. After being planted with their earth-bound counterparts, these seedlings showed no discernible difference after twenty years of growth.
Trees are able to communicate and defend themselves against attacking insects. Scientists have found that trees can flood their leaves with chemicals called phenolics when the insects begin their raid. They can also signal danger to other trees so they can start their own defense.
Ardor Day is celebrates on April 24. Ardor Day is an annual holiday that celebrate trees. The name in fact comes from Latin Ardor which means tree. In this day people are encouraged to plant and care for trees.
I hope this post make your time profitable. Learn something new from my posts. Nature Love.

Once there lived a old man whose name is Natraj. He was a councillor of his native village. He was good mannered, filled with full of kindness and always helpful to people in his village. He was a unmarried man, he had huge land around his big house. He had green velvet field. There were lot of people had working in his field. After him all this properties were belonged to the temple near his house. He was a spiritual man he used to go temple often and worship God. One day he became ill and he became very feeble . He longed to live. At that time he heard an oracle he listened to that. It tells,
“You are a good soul. You deserve to a place heaven. You have done many vitreous deeds. So I extend your lifetime. Now you are going to live in this world for 2 more years as a boon. You will be happy, healthy and enjoy your vitreous deeds. “
After the oracle vanished, he became healthy and his illness gone away. He became strong and he felt young. In his youth days he used to drink alcohol when he felt happy. Because of his health problems he ignored it in his age 40. Now he restarted to drink alcohol because he knew that he would be healthy for 2 years, he wouldn’t die. After drank he became unconscious and started to distrub people in his village. He scold his servants and people whom he saw. People felt odd in his behavior. He was totally changed because of this alcohol. He behaved rude and arrogant and even he misbehaved with people. People began to curse him, they named him as a drunkard.
One year passed like this. He continuously took drug that results in constant unconsciouness. He enjoyed his bonus life like a heaven but it is full of immoral. Second year also almost gone like this. Only 2 days more for his death. He sense some fear of his death. He confessed all his mistakes himself. He came back to his real life. He stopped drinking alcohol. After all confession he came out to meet people in his village.
He went village side when people saw him started to cruse him. They had hesitate to talk with him. Everyone ignored him, his respect were gone. He felt shame of himself for his behavior of past 2 years. With full of heavy heart he returned to his house. He gives his all properties to his servants worked in his field and house. He felt this world as a hell. He hated himself. He decided to die soon as possible.
He heard the oracle. It tells,
“You had earned lots of vitreous deeds before 2 years there were only few sins were done. But in past two years you had earned lot of sins as the result you have to live in this world for two more years as a punishment. You deserve to bare all your pain. You have to live with all your curse and try to gather vitreous deeds”
After the oracle varnished. He became feeble and older. He can’t able to bare his isolation and pain. There is no one to help him. The result of drank alcohol takes place, he suffer a lot. He started his pilgrimage at last to gather vitreous deeds.
From this story you have to learn always be yourself good. If Natraj didn’t drank alcohol he will be enjoy his boon and gather lots of vitreous deed and his soul will be in peace. Because of his attitude of drinking alcohol he became bad and mad. People cursed him his respect all destroyed.
So don’t change your attitude and character for anything else.

Psithurism Who says trees donât talk? When the wind rustles the leaves, the trees seem to be whispering the secrets of the universe. Psithurism, the sound of the wind in the trees, is an obsolete word derived from the Greek word for whispering. Let’s here those whispering of trees.
Petrichor A pleasant smell the frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm dry weather. Petrichor is the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. It may happens in end of the summer season. The word constructed from Greek petra. Petr â stone Ichor â the fluid that flows in the veins of the god in Greek mythology.
Biblichor Biblichor is the word that describes the particular smell that belongs to old books. Biblichor is a newly created word that combines the Greek words biblio (book) with ichor (the fluid that flows like blood in the veins of the gods), much the way petrichor was created.
Smultronställe In Swedish, a smultronställe is a small, remote place where wild strawberries grow. Imagine a pretty place in the wilderness, a special, hidden place where you can relax and enjoy the smell of fresh berries ripening in the sun. Swedes also use this word to talk about ârare moments of peaceful tranquility.â
Apricate If your favorite thing to do on vacation is tan, you might spend a lot of time apricating. Apricate is a verb that English inherited from Latin, and it means to bask in the sun.
Ammil Carolers sing about winter wonderlands; now you can describe them more accurately with ammil. Ammil comes from the Old English term for enamel. Now the word refers to the glittering layer of ice that dusts leaves, twigs, and grass after a freeze.
Moonglade and Moonwake You might see moonglade in the lines of poems such as this one by Edgar Rice Burroughs, âHeaven was full of silent stars, and there was a moonglade on the water that stretched almost from him to Rose.â While a moonglade is a flash of moonlight reflecting on water, its synonym moonwake is a great word to describe how the moonâs reflection on the water seems to follow you as you walk along the shore.
Selenophile A person who is attracted by the moon, moon lover. In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the moon. She is the daughter of the Titans. She drives her moon chariot across the heaven. The moon is a feminine symbol, universally representing the rhythm of time as it embodies cycle. The phrase of the moon symbolizes immortality, eternity, enlightenment or the dark side of nature herself.
Asterophile Or Philaoster Someone who loves stars would be called an Asterophile or Philoaster
Aesthete A person who has or professes to have refined sensitivity toward the beauties of art or nature. a person who affects great love of art, music, poetry, etc., and indifference to practical matters
Yugen Do you enjoy nature? You might not find a sufficient way to express how much you do. Yugen is the perfect word to an article on the wonders of creation. Sometimes nature is indescribable. The Japanese word yugen refers to the awareness that the universe is so profound that the emotions we feel when we try to contemplate it are too deep and mysterious to convey.
I hope these words help you. Use these words and be unique among your friends đ

Advertisements has become an inseparable part of our life. Everyday people are exposed to innumerable advertisements whether they like them or not. Steward. H. Brittâs idea is about the importance of advertising as âDoing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark; you know what you are doing, but nobody else doesâ. Statistically it has been told that a typical person sees 3000 advertisement a day. When he or she becomes 25 years old, the person might have seen 2 million advertisement. English is one of the widely used languages in the world. It is said that language which is used in advertisements is the one which can most likely generates the strong feelings in readers. The language of the advertisement is very important. The vividness of a language is the highlight of the advertisements. It can be compared with the old nursery rhymes which we have learnt in our childhood days. The advertisements echo in our mind like those short and sweet rhymes. The language of the advertisements has to be precise and logical to give a ready and spontaneous impact on the reader. It is expected to be unpretentious, ingenious and efficient. It has to speak the language of the consumers. Most of the time there is tough competitions between the competitors of the advertisement and at that time only the language makes their advertisement to be more attractive. Learning the English advertising texts helps to improve the language competence. English advertising is both interesting and rewarding. All the brand names, logos, trademarks, jingles, and slogans have become the part and parcel of the mind dictionary. To achieve awareness, the reader should have a good understanding of the language of English advertising and its influence in the English language. It contributes lot of new words to the English vocabulary and thus the vocabulary stock increases. Language is a carrier of advertisements. Advertiser at his level best have to adjust with the language changes and grammatical rules. The Language of Advertising is mainly concerned with the language focus and communication functions of advertising. Advertising occupies an important position in our lives, we need to evaluate English advertising and how to create English advertising texts. Whatever strategies it takes, language is the main carrier of advertised messages. To understand this, a good grasp of the language characteristics of English advertising is necessary. The analysis of the linguistic feature is important. The behavior of the people is mainly determined by their language. This language plays a vital role in human existence. Likewise, an advertising language is also too important for marketing and advertising. The choice of language which an ad writer chooses is very important. Even the visual image and design in advertising have a greater impact on the consumer. But predominantly the language has to be effective. The English language is determined by its vocabulary. It has extensive vocabulary where one word will have multiple meaning. They have subtle variations in their meanings. The connotation which means the feeling or idea which a word gives when compared to the actual meaning of the word is too important. For example, in Cushion chair the word cushion means for comfort but the chair evokes no feeling. The target audience decides which word has to be chosen. When a speaker is speaking to the audience, the presentation he gives must have familiar words. Only then the speaker can get the desired effect. The ad writers mostly prefer compound nouns and use it as adjectives. For example, High â rise, world-class, multi-brand, long-lasting and so on. The most popular adjective they use good and new. use is good and new.
When people go through the advertisement they wish to get something good from them. Through advertisement we can learn lots of new words, usage of words and how to pronounce the word. In past days advertisers use common adjectives to their advertisement like new, super, colourful, wonderful, tasty, etc. But nowadays advertisers exaggerating the adjectives like delicious, fabulous, spicy, elegant, yummy, exclusive, trend, affordable, etc.
In Malabar Gold and Diamonds advertisement, âExchange gold Enjoy benefitsâ. From this advertisementâs slogan we notice the alliteration. Through this slogan we learn an alliteration. In the Fiat advertisement, âItâs new. Itâs exclusive. Make the moveâ From this advertisement the word ânewâ is familiar to all so they using another adjective to attract the consumer. So, they using âexclusiveâ, it is somewhat not familiar to most of the people. So we learning new word through this advertisement. Many words in advertisement, especially in trade names, are words newly coined deliberately misspelled and abbreviated. ď âsnap, crackle, popâ â rice krispies Here they mentioning the word crispies, but the advertiser mistaking the word to attract the customer to see their advertisement. This will also make the advertisement more charming. These kinds of coinages are nowhere to be found in dictionaries but they seem familiar to readers in appearances. The customers will get attracted when they come across some newly coined words. Thus, the aim of the advertising is reached. But without stress on novelty and uniqueness of the products, advertisement will have little effect and appear meaningless. Misspellings are also a clever use of coinages.
Doubliciousâ this is not a proper English word, they convey that double + delicious so it is doublicious. It is wrong but we are accepting it. If the advertisement is for kids, then it mostly based on rhymes because kids are fond of rhymes and songs principally they were in English. For example, Colgate kidsâ toothpaste they had the advertisement in rhymes âbrush brush brush two times a day brush brush brush keeps cavities awayâ by watching this type of ads 2 or 3 times they began to sing with the ad. Through this kid learn how to pronounce the word whether they didnât know the meaning. Advertising language analyses the ways advertisers use language to gain and retain the attention of their audience, with particular emphasis on puns and metaphors. They pointed out that puns are âeye-catching and thus can sustain an audience attention for a longer period of timeâ. The language of advertising is highly positive and emphasizes that the product they promote is the best in comparison with the other product. And itâs âlanguage has to be precise and logical to make an immediate impact on the buyerâ. The language of advertisement need not be grammatically correct. Even the sentence will not be fully completed. For example, in the advertisement for McDonald âIâm lovinâ itâ. As told in advertisement writing, we can excuse if it is grammatically incorrect but it will be of no use when it lacks the fire and vitality to create in the readers. The prime objective of the advertisement writer is to attract the reader, inform the reader, interest the reader and persuade the reader to think about the product. They have to find new and fresh ideas to impress the targeted audience. They are expected to inject colourful thoughts and expressions. This difference they make to English language is always against the puristsâ thought of Standard English language. In order to acquire the catchy phrases, these advertisement writers use incomplete sentences and grammatically incorrect sentences to convey the message crisply. For example, in the advertisement for Dollar Shave Club, âshave Time, shave Moneyâ In this advertisement, the advertiser mentioning the word âshaveâ as âsaveâ we can understand the meaning of the slogan while hear it but when we read it is a mistake through the word âshaveâ they mentioning their product. The purists feel that this is a great abomination to the English language. They strongly consider that the Standard English must not be taunted by these advertisement writers. Even though they know the change is inevitable, they want to limit the changes as far as possible. They prefer grammatically correct writing; the words and phrases have to be used in accepted standards. They also feel that advertisement writers are creating a mess with the language and they question how they are going to prepare a new forum for the next generation. The advertisement writers in other way make the formal language to be a friendly language. And they are successful in what they do. So, the copy writers of this advertisement consider themselves as word mechanics or skilled professionals with fondness for words. They strongly feel their ads have to be imaginative, eye-catching and must have succinct writing to enthrall the audience. They too are good writers, though some of their vocabulary and structures are unconventional.
I conclude that usually advertisers use so many ornamental words to make people buy the products or services advertised. The construction of the advertisement will attract the attention of the potential purchaser to have persuasive effects. Therefore he/she makes the full use of words to arouse their interest and attention. They have frequent use of simple words, clever use of coinages, loanwords, monosyllabic verbs and simple adjectives as well as compounds. In English advertising, monosyllable verbs are widely used. Most will have colloquialisms. This will make the consumers understand simple and easy English advertisements. In advertisements they use personifications, simile, metaphor, pun and Repetition. In English advertisements, compounds are used in everywhere. Based on the text, the advertisers are relatively free to create English compounds. In business advertising, to show the comparison they will express the thought that the manufacturers want to show exactly and completely. For this reason, mainly, they rely on advertisements. Some examples are: top-quality bulbs, fresh-tasting milk, chocolate- flavored cereal.
